Hot out of the studio. My newest sculpture "House on Little Toe Rock". It is 12" w by 6" d by 11" h. The house is on a 3" x 4" base platform. There are 17 scallop shells, 8 barnacles, 7 sea clam shells, 2 full crabs, 2 crab claws, 2 fish vertebrae, a shark tooth, a starfish, and a couple dozen mussel shells. Three of the copper planters are actual copper (paper thin and pitted) from my Cape trip in August.

Warwick, RI; The Warwick Museum of Art (WMOA) has selected a photograph of Neal Personeus' sculpture, "Yeah, but the Views" in-progress photograph for the museum's "The Elements" Exhibition poster. The exhibition will open Friday, August 12th, 7-9pm and run August 3 through August 31st. Neal's sculpture, "Yeah, but the Views" will be available for viewing during the exhibit. I had a fantastic first day and evening at the Home Show. The people that came by my booth (235) had just wonderful things to say. It was nice to know that my hard work was appreciated. I am really glad that there were some folks who said they will now look at driftwood in a different way, and not just as firewood or something that clutters the beach. How cool is that!?! I also really enjoyed meeting the artists around me. They are some very talented people and very personable as well. I couldn't have asked for nicer show neighbors. Special thanks to artist Kim Ellery for the opportunity to show my sculptures, and to the RI Home Show for making a place for the arts.
